Directions to the Vineyard

Please print and bring these directions with you. Google Maps and GPS are not reliable out here, and there is no cell phone service for much of the drive. If you have questions about your visit, please contact Hirsch Vineyards at visit@hirschvineyards.com or by calling (707) 723-7133.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

From San Francisco (2.5-3 hrs)

  • Take 101 North to Petaluma, then exit at East Washington St. Turn left and drive west for 35-40 miles through Valley Ford, Bodega Bay, & Jenner.
  • Five miles north of Jenner, turn right on Meyers Grade. Go up Meyers Grade about 4 miles to Fort Ross Rd marked by a green county street sign (there is an unpaved driveway shortly before Ft. Ross Rd which is marked “Ft. Ross Rd” with the street number; this is not the correct turn). Turn right on Fort Ross Rd.
  • Follow Fort Ross Rd 1.5 miles to Bohan Dillon Road.
  • Turn left on Bohan Dillon Road and note your mileage: it is about 6 miles up Bohan Dillon Rd. to the winery, which is a wooden unmarked building. Around the half way point on Bohan Dillon, the pavement ends, but the road is passable for any vehicle. There are two speed bumps where the pavement ends, so please go slow to avoid damaging your car. Where the pavement ends, you will have the impression you’re driving through their back yard. Don’t worry and don’t turn off.

From Santa Rosa (1.5-2 hrs), Healdsburg (1.5-2 hrs), Napa (2.5-3 hrs), St Helena (2.5-3 hrs)

  • Proceed to 101 and exit at River Rd (a few miles north of Santa Rosa).
  • Go west on River Rd all the way to the coast (about 25 miles).
  • Turn right onto Highway 1 and pass through Jenner, then follow the above directions.
